French
Le Flaubert settled on Orrego Luco Street, one of the streets with a French-style architectural tradition in the commune of Providencia. In a house that was slightly adapted for the functional needs of a restaurant. The style remains to this day, classic, informal, convivial and warm moments. The different spaces lend themselves to conversation, the seats are comfortable, the food has been recognized and applauded for all these years without lowering the attention. We were pioneers as a Tea Room, offering quality teas in your teapot and selling them in bulk. The first Wine Dinners were organized, becoming fashionable very quickly, harmonizing wine and gastronomy. Since 2007, we have revived the delicious soups in winter, calling them “Soup Time”: it has been a small gourmet contribution, creating successful compositions or greeting the traditional peasant or sailor women from different countries. What dishes characterize Le Flaubert? A tasty pâté maison, a “soupe à l’oignon”, a “coq au vin”, duck like in France, a Flaubert sea bass, crêpes suzettes, chocolate mousse and much more. It is a delight to go and return to Le Flaubert, say the “regulars” of the place.
