Description
Spend 2 days in the Colchagua Valley, a wine region in Chile. Visit the Viña Montes, Clos Apalta, and Viña Vik wineries, enjoy wine tastings, and savor a 3-course lunch at the Fuegos de Apalta restaurant. Day 1: Depart from Santiago and head to Santa Cruz. Admire the beautiful landscapes of Santa Cruz. Walk through the vineyards of the Viña Montes winery and enjoy a tour of the winery where premium and ultra-premium wines are vinified. Visit the Barrel Room, where the best wines rest and mature accompanied by Gregorian songs. Stop by the wine and souvenir shop and find all the Montes wine lines at special prices. Have lunch at the Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, surrounded by vines in a wonderful setting at Viña Montes. The kitchen is run by one of the most famous chefs in Argentina, Francis Mallmann. After lunch, visit the Clos Apalta winery and enjoy a wine tasting. Admire the winery, which has built a seven-story underground complex into the slopes of its land. The winery of this vineyard is unique and was designed by the renowned Chilean architect Roberto Benavente Riquelme. Rest at the Hotel Santa Cruz Plaza. Day 2: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and head to the Viña Vik winery. Take a tour of the winery and enjoy a wine tasting. Admire the winery that stands out for its unique and unprecedented design, which is, at the same time, avant-garde, highly sustainable, technologically creative, and with a striking visual display that promises to redefine the wine experience.
