Directions to Bicentenario Park
The Park is one of the great projects that the Municipality of Vitacura has carried out. Located on one side of the Mapocho River, it is located between the Perez Zujovic road junction and Isabel Montt Street, being one of the main green areas of Santiago, with a total area of 27 hectares that extends along the eastern bank of the River.
It has around 4,000 trees, of which more than 1,300 are native species. Its great attraction is the North lagoon, with entrance by Isabel Montt street, where black-necked swans, flamingos, taguas, herons and triles coexist.

The Torreón Picarte or Torreón del Barro is a defensive construction built by the Spanish Empire in southern Chile, in the city of Valdivia, in the XV Region of Los Ríos. It is located at Ramón Picarte Street Nº1244, on the southern edge of the Calle Calle river. The Spanish Crown early perceived the strategic nature of the southern region of Chile, which through the Strait of Magellan and Cape Horn was an intermediate point for navigation from Europe to the American Pacific coast.
Cerro Dragon or The Dragon Hill is a massive sand dune which is approximately four kilometers long, situated nearby the coast in the city of Iquique in Chile. Cerro Dragons hill is varying in height in between from 150 to 500 meters.
A slightly less tourist destination, but very relevant to the history of the bay and the region is Guayacán, an old neighborhood south of the peninsula that in 2005 was declared a Typical Zone for its particular architecture and urban landmarks full of history.
