Jazz Club
Since 1943, the Jazz Club of Santiago has been considered one of the best musical spaces in the country, becoming not only the Jazz club with the greatest tradition in Chile but one of the oldest in the world.
The combination of a deep love for music and the friendly atmosphere generated between its musicians and the public have made this institution one of the most renowned in our musical history.
In the Santiago Jazz Club, some of the most relevant and influential figures of the history of this style have been presented: Louis Armstrong, Elvin Jones, Wynton Marsalis, James Moody, Paquito D'a Rivera, Herbie Hancock, Pat O'Leary, Lew Tabackin, Billy Cobham, who together with other outstanding national and international musicians have made this place a space of quality and prestige for seven decades.
Currently, more than fifty groups and soloists make up the stable program of the Club, who interpret a wide range of styles, among which it is possible to highlight: Ragtime, Swing, Dixieland, Bebop, Cool Jazz, Free Jazz, Blues, Jazz Fusion and Latin Jazz.
Also, Jazz Club concerts usually include jam sessions in which musicians of different generations and styles meet, making this one of the best places to enjoy a special musical evening in the city.
