Embark on this guided day trip from San Pedro de Atacama to explore the Andes. Visit the viewpoint of the Licancabur volcano, and see the wetland of Queipiaco.   Start your day with a pickup from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama accommodation. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride to the Licancabur volcano. Kickstart your morning with a tasty breakfast before en route to the Licancabur volcano to get your energy levels up. Marvel at the views of the volcano and admire the unique cone shape. Mark sure you have your camera with you as you will want to take lots of photos. First, you will visit the wetland of Queipiaco, where you will discover different animals, such as birds, ducks, flamingos, vicuñas, and lamas. Next, you will visit the rock formation known as the Monje de La Pacana. Admire this stone pillar which is a staggering 70 ft (21 m) tall.
