With the purpose of highlighting our history and uniting two worlds, the pagan and the Catholic, Barrio Plaza Ñuñoa A.G., together with the Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Entrepreneurs of Ñuñoa, in collaboration with SERCOTEC RM and the support of the Municipality of Ñuñoa, They organize the “Holy Harvest”. This fair aims to show the essence and divine nature of one of the most important products of the Chilean countryside, on this occasion, directly from the Itata Valley. With more than 500 years of history, the Itata Valley, located in the Nuble region, is one of the oldest wine-growing areas in the country. Its name in Mapudungún means “abundant grazing”, since it was the Mapuches who inhabited the place before the arrival of the conquerors. Surrounded by the Ñuble and Itata rivers, it is home to the areas of Chillán, San Nicolás, Coelemu, Quillón, Bulnes, Ránquil, Portezuelo, among other communes; constituting the largest wine-growing region in southern Chile.
Santa Vendimia will have:
