Description

Tour from Puerto Natales, visiting the Laguna Amarga and the Milodon Cave, Full Day Torres del Paine. The first stop of the trip will be Cerro Castillo, capital of the commune of Torres del Paine and last point before entering the national park. Then, you will continue on your way to the Sarmiento Lake viewpoint. Here you will be able to take pictures and see how the sun follows its path during the morning. If the weather is good, you will have the first panoramic view of the Torres del Paine and see its reflection in the water, a true spectacle of nature. Afterwards, you will go to the Laguna Amarga viewpoint, where you will have a closer view of the towers, the lagoon and the flamingos that live there. Then, you will enter the park through the Laguna Amarga Gateway and take the road to see Lake Nordenskjöld. You will continue on the road to visit the Salto Grande waterfall, from where you will also have a panoramic view of the Cuernos del Paine. Afterwards, you will pass by the viewpoint of Lake Pehoé and continue to Lake Grey. Here you will have some free time to have lunch and also walk along the beach, from where you will have breathtaking views of the Paine Massif, weather permitting. You may encounter an ice floe blown by the wind from the glacier to the shore of the beach. Finally, you will go to the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, a space made up of three caves of which you will visit the main one, where the remains of this prehistoric animal were found more than 100 years ago. Afterwards, you will return to Puerto Natales. Full Day Perito Moreno Glacier Cross the border with our full day Perito Moreno Glacier tour from Puerto Natales and get to know the most famous glacier in the Argentine Patagonia. We will meet at the meeting point to start a 5 and a half hour trip that will take you to the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina. After border formalities at the Don Guillermo pass in El Calafate, a guide will take you up to the glacier and you will continue your journey to Los Glaciares National Park. The visit to the park will last 1 hour and a half, during which you will walk along the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno glacier. You will visit several viewpoints and, if you are lucky, you will be able to see some of the ice detachments of more than 70 meters. There is also the option to split your time and walk the walkways for 30 minutes and take the navigation in front of the glacier for 1 hour (not included). The latter will be possible if there is a confirmed departure and availability at the time of the visit, if weather conditions permit and if there are no delays in crossing the border. THIS OPTION IS AVAILABLE BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1 AND MAY 14. Full day (includes 11 hours of bus travel in the same day). Schedules: departure at 06:45 (arrival time at 06:15) from the meeting point in the center of Puerto Natales and return to the same place at 22:00.

Return: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 08:00 (check-in time at 07:30) from El Calafate Bus Terminal, arriving at Puerto Natales Bus Terminal at 14:00.
