If you want to see Chile on your terms, private tours are the way to go. It’s not about rushing through landmarks. It’s about lingering in places that catch your eye and chatting with guides who know the local stories. And in the Lake District, a private trip to the less-visited Villarrica volcano area lets you escape the crowds and maybe spot some rare wildlife.
