Description
Discover one of Chile’s most breathtaking natural wonders on this full-day tour from Santiago. Visit the stunning Embalse El Yeso, a turquoise mountain reservoir nestled in the heart of the Andes, and immerse yourself in Chilean culture with a traditional Fiesta de la Chilenidad experience.
Depart from Santiago between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and start your journey through the beautiful Maipo Canyon. Begin the day with a stop for a typical mountain-style breakfast with panoramic views of the Maipo River. Continue toward the Embalse El Yeso, located within the Cordillera Park, where you’ll find restrooms, Wi-Fi access, and the famous Embalse sign for photos.
Enjoy a short guided walk around the area, admire the breathtaking landscapes, and take your time to capture unforgettable photos. You’ll also have the chance to see local fauna, including horses, goats, and llamas, along the way.
Afterward, stop for lunch at a local restaurant (not included), followed by a sweet visit to the Chocolate House.
