Description
At the indicated time, we will pick you up at the coordinated meeting point in San Pedro Atacama and, from there, we will take a short trip of just 15 minutes to the Ayllu de Coyo observation point, a sector located just 6 kilometers away.
Once we arrive at this observation point, we will begin our night looking at the sky with the naked eye with Rodrigo Zúñiga, author of the book series Bajo la Noche de Atacama and Nine Notes to Recover the Sky.
In this first observation, we will see with the naked eye the constellations and the main elements present in the sky. After this first approach, we will use electronic telescopes to look at the sky from a different perspective. We will see planets, star clusters, nebulae and stars, depending on the season.
Next, we will have some hot drinks, wine and snacks by a campfire. After regaining our strength, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled 2.5 hours after pickup.
