Description
Enjoy a full day exploring the wonders of the Chilean highlands. Begin by being picked up from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama at 6:30am. The first stop, after an hour's journey, will be at the stunning mountain lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques, located 4,200 meters above sea level. Enjoy breakfast together while enjoying the rich fauna and flora.
Next, the journey continues to the spectacular Salar de Talar, known as Piedras Rojas, where the beauty of the site is truly impressive. Continue the tour towards the picturesque Atacamean village of Socaire, where farming terraces and a historic church await your visit.
Explore the renowned Salar de Atacama, Chile's largest salt lake, home to the national flamingo reserve and the stunning Chaxa lagoon, home to three distinct species of flamingo and other fascinating creatures.
