Description

Experience a stargazing tour in the Atacama Desert, away from the magical town of San Pedro de Atacama. Be picked up from your hotel and travel to the stargazing observation site. Arrive at a nicely arranged outdoor area under the stars, inspired by the Andean Cosmovision, in the shape of a Chakana (Andean Cross) and with a mirror of water in its center where you can observe the reflection of the stars just as indigenous cultures used to do in the Central Andes. Listen as your certified and well-experienced stargazing guide explains both the Andean and the classic (Greek/Roman) interpretation of stars and constellations. See the most interesting celestial objects through high-end professional telescopes. Finally, our special light-sensitive camera/lens takes beautiful pictures of you and the stars. Meanwhile, contemplate the night-sky and enjoy a hot tea or chocolate or a glass of wine. After about 2 hours of stargazing be dropped off at your hotel.
