Description

Explore the Moon Valley, a desert landscape that is a geomorphological wonder. Admire the natural formations and landscapes that resemble a fragment of the lunar landscape, from which it takes its name. Depart from the Whipala Office and drive to the Moon Valley. In 1982, it was declared a Nature Sanctuary and is part of the Flamenco National Reserve. This is a place where you can observe a geological spectacle of great interest, especially at dawn and dusk. During your visit, admire the famous natural formation known by the ancestors as Los Tres Vigilantes, now called Las Tres Marías, the Major Dune, and viewpoints such as Quebrada Honda where the famous Coyote Stone is located.
