Description

We will start our tour in the morning to make the most of the day. During the tour, we will visit the Licancabur Volcano Viewpoint, one of the most iconic volcanoes in the region. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the landscape surrounding the volcano. Then, we will head to Laguna Kepiaco, a nesting place for various flamingos and Andean birds. Here you can enjoy a moment of tranquility in a magical place. We will continue to the Altiplano, a high-altitude region that offers breathtaking views of mountains and volcanoes. During the tour, we will visit the Monjes de la Pacana, a natural rock formation that resembles a series of giant stone columns eroded by the wind. This unique and spectacular landscape will take your breath away. Then, we will head to the Salar de Aguas Calientes, a salt desert sunk beneath a lagoon in the middle of the Altiplano. Here you can enjoy the beauty of nature in a breathtaking landscape of mountains, volcanoes, and salt flats. Finally, we will visit the Salar de Quisquiro, a unique landscape of salt and stone that will take your breath away. • Passenger pick-up will be coordinated by the guide via a WhatsApp group. The guide will share their location in real time and notify passengers of the pick-up order from their hotels. At the end of the tour, the driver will drop passengers off on Gustave Le Paige Street, 300 meters from the Plaza de San Pedro de Atacama. This tour passes through areas at an altitude of over 4,800 meters, so passengers must have acclimatized for at least 24 hours in San Pedro de Atacama before the excursion.
