Description

Start your adventure at 8:00 a.m. with a hotel pickup in Putre. This medium-high difficulty trek is perfect for seasoned adventurers in good physical condition. The journey spans 8 to 10 hours, demanding considerable effort and pace management. With a maximum altitude of 4,900 meters, prior acclimatization is essential to prevent altitude sickness. As you trek through the Jurassic Gorge, marvel at the diverse fauna adapted to the desert and mountainous environment. Keep an eye out for Guanacos, Andean Condors, Culpeo Foxes, and various lizards. Midway through the trek, take a break to enjoy a picnic featuring sandwiches, nuts, chocolate, and natural juices. After recharging, continue exploring the breathtaking surroundings until you reach the Andean village of Socoroma. The trek concludes with a return to the starting point, followed by transportation back to your hotel in Putre, with an estimated arrival between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
