Description
During this experience, our goal is to observe and photograph the puma in its natural habitat, without interfering with its daily activities, always respecting its space and natural rhythms.
This excursion is designed for photographers, big cat enthusiasts, and wildlife observers.
Guided by a wildlife veterinarian with expertise in local fauna, combining ethology and photography, you will learn about the behavior of these majestic felines and the unique environment they inhabit.
We will pick you up from your accommodation before sunrise (the exact time will be arranged upon booking and will depend on the time of year and your accommodation location).
The search is conducted in a 4x4 vehicle, and occasionally includes gentle walks in public areas.
Tracking activities take place from dawn until dusk, with a midday break. During this time, we’ll review the photos taken and provide tips to improve your photography skills.
Along the way, in addition to pumas, you may also spot foxes, guanacos, rheas, skunks, eagles, condors, and more.
Pumas roam freely in Torres del Paine. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING MORE THAN ONE DAY OF SAFARI TO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF SIGHTINGS AND TO GET BETTER PHOTOGRAPHIC OPPORTUNITIES.
