Description
Join us on one of Patagonia's most iconic hikes with our Base Las Torres Trekking, nestled in the stunning Torres del Paine National Park. This 8-9 hour trek is perfect for adventure lovers who want to see one of the world's most famous sights: three granite towers rising above a glacial lagoon.
The day kicks off with a pick-up from your place between 6:00 and 6:30. From there, we'll travel for about two hours towards Torres del Paine National Park, entering through the Laguna Amarga gate and continuing to the Welcome Center, the starting point of the hike.
The whole route takes about 8 hours: roughly 4 hours up and 4 hours down the same trail. The first big stop will be at the Refugio Chileno, about halfway through the journey, where you can rest, eat, and rehydrate.
Afterwards, we'll head into the beautiful lenga forest, taking a steeper and more challenging path. Your effort will pay off when you reach the Mirador Base Las Torres, where majestic granite spikes rise up from a turquoise glacial lagoon. Here you'll have time to enjoy your lunch, take photos, and experience the unique feeling of being in front of one of the most iconic landscapes in Chile and the world.
After a break, your certified trekking guide will signal the start of the return, which takes about 4 hours along the same ascent path. When we get back to the Welcome Center, our ride back to your place will be waiting for us, wrapping up the day around 3:00 PM.
This tour is led by a certified WFR (wilderness first aid) trekking guide and accompanied by a professional driver. If needed, we'll provide trekking poles and ice crampons. Just a heads up, this activity needs a good level of fitness and depends on the weather.
