Description

Embark on a 3-hour (half-day) tour of the most emblematic places in Puerto Natales and its surroundings. From your accommodation, you will be taken to privileged panoramic and cultural points while our expert tour guide tells you about the city's cattle-ranching origins, the role of the pioneers, and the first settlements. You will visit Villa Cariño, with views of the Señoret Channel, the Almirante Montt Gulf, and the Última Esperanza Fjord. Then you will visit Colonia Isabel Riquelme, the epicenter of the first sheep farming development near the city. You will arrive at the Puerto Natales waterfront, with its artisanal fishing activity and the remains of the Braun & Blanchard Pier, home to cormorant colonies and a vestige of the industrial boom next to Puerto Bories (now a Historic Monument). You will continue along the historic roads that connect Puerto Natales with Puerto Prat and Puerto Consuelo, which symbolize the first modern human settlements and Chilean territorial consolidation in the region.
