Description
Packrafting on the Petrohue River is a water activity that combines adventure and the landscapes of northern Patagonia. The activity is suitable for both beginners and those with paddling experience; the instructor adapts to those looking for a leisurely tour or those looking to take their skills to the next level.
Participants will paddle through crystal clear waters in their own packraft, which is a lightweight and versatile inflatable boat that is easy to maneuver.
Our meeting point is in the town of Ensenada, where you will be welcomed by a team of professionals who will provide you with information and all the necessary technical equipment, including shoes, a wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket, before heading to a Class I-II section of the Petrohue River.
The tour includes instructions on safety and paddling techniques, as well as time to enjoy a dip, beautiful scenery, a tasty snack at the end of the descent, and round-trip transportation to Ensenada (meeting point).
Requirements:
- Be in good health; the activity is not suitable for people with heart problems or pregnant women.
- You must know how to swim.
- Be at least 12 years old and be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian at the start of the activity to sign the documentation.
What to bring:
