Description
Start with pickup early in the morning and travel towards Isla Negra, west of Santiago. Travel through the beautiful green valleys used for growing a variety of fruits and vegetables.
Arrive at the small town of Isla Negra and visit the former home of famed poet Pablo Neruda. Today, the house is a museum dedicated to his life and work. Visit his gravesite which is located on the grounds surrounding the house.
Afterwards, continue to the village of Pomaire where you can browse for some traditional Chilean craftwork, and have lunch at your own expense. Next, visit a local winery at a beautiful hacienda located in the Maipo Valley. Take a tour of the vineyard and learn about the history of the family who has been producing wine here since the 18th century. Taste some fantastic wine, and have the opportunity to purchase some bottles after the tour. Finally, return to Santiago, with drop-off at your hotel.
