Description

We will meet at the time indicated on the number in the Plaza de San Pedro de Atacama, and from this point in San Pedro de Atacama we will move west. After a short journey of just half an hour we will arrive at one of the most surprising spaces in the Atacama Desert. Welcome to the famous Valley of the Moon! Once we reach this unique place, we will explore it on foot and by vehicle to enjoy the beauty of its landscapes. During the visit to the Valley of the Moon, we will enjoy beautiful panoramic views at the Kari Viewpoint, also known as the Piedra del Coyote. Of course, you will believe you are on the Earth's satellite, and from this place you can see landscapes that are reminiscent of those of the moon. Along the route, we will also see the geological formation known as Las Tres Marías. We will also stop in front of the iconic Duna Mayor, a colossal mound of sand that stands out in the immensity of the arid landscape of the Valley of the Moon. Without a doubt, from this place you will capture your best photographs of the Atacama Desert. After visiting the valley we will return to the meeting point in San Pedro de Atacama, where we will conclude this activity lasting between 4 and 4.5 hours in total.
