Description

On this excursion we will explore several lagoons located within the Salar de Atacama, which is recognized as the largest salt flat in Chile. We will begin this exciting adventure by visiting our first destinations: the iconic Laguna Cejar and Laguna Piedra. Both are surrounded by lush grasslands in shades of yellow and green, creating a captivating contrast with the natural blues of the water. Here, you will witness a breathtaking landscape, where the turquoise tones of the water merge with the imposing presence of the volcanoes. At Cejar Lagoon, you will have the opportunity to dive and experience the floating effect, while the place offers facilities with changing rooms and showers so you can change and rinse the salt off your body comfortably. We will continue our tour to the Ojos del Salar, two freshwater wells nestled in the heart of the desert. Afterwards, we will head towards the Tebinquinche Lagoon, where we will enter its trails to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. If you are lucky, you will be able to observe the flamingos that come to the place to feed. Here, we will witness how the sky merges with the desert and the purity of the salt, creating a truly sublime landscape.
