60 years ago, Pablo Pérez and Mariana Cruz discovered the perfect place to create what would soon be Viña Pérez Cruz, on the southern shore of the Maipo Valley at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Where they found a privileged space in the Chilean countryside, full of tradition and geographical value, since the slopes located at a great height where they perched had under their feet thousands of years of rock formations and earth movements that made it unique. a stony and clayey soil complex to cultivate, rich in minerals and privileged in its Mediterranean climate.
Viña Pérez Cruz is located in the Maipo Andes valley, specifically in the town of Huelquén, in the foothills 40km south of Santiago, the capital of Chile.
Maipo Andes, also called Maipo Alto, stands out for the particular characteristics of its terroir, specifically its climate and soil.
Germán Lyon, technical director, began to lead the Viña Pérez Cruz project from its beginnings with the first harvest in 2002.
