Traditional Bakery Bistro Deli Fine Dining Pulpería Santa Elvira is one of those places that conquers you from the start. Starting out because it is in a beautiful restored heritage house on Santa Elvira Street, near Av. Matta, with an open kitchen, different living rooms and a terrace.

Then you fall in love with its signature cuisine, led by a team led by Javier Avilés Lira, an Antofagasta chef who, after working for 14 years in restaurants in Buenos Aires, returned to Chile and opened this restaurant.

One where all the products, even the wine, are from small producers. In fact, at the entrance you will find a “pulpería”, a small pantry where you can buy pickles made on site.

“Here we cook with a lot of love” is the motto of Pulpería Santa Elvira.

Motto that, by the way, is passed on to their dishes, which are part of a menu that is announced on a blackboard and which constantly change.

It is a limited menu, with three options of starters, about four main dishes and two desserts, where you always find some veggie option, and where the protagonists are seasonal products.
