Hot Springs
Spa and Wellness
The Geometric Baths, formerly called Termas de Cajón Negro, are immersed in the majesty and beauty of the Villarrica
National Park, near the town of Coñaripe. They are the result of an ambitious project carried out by the architect Germán del Sol, who, through the construction of the thermal baths of wood and natural materials, wanted to bring nature to geometry, to achieve a harmonious whole.
This new and original thermalism option is located next to the Aihué estuary and is characterized by its abundance of sources. One of its special features is the wooden walkway that crosses the entire center and serves to travel the ravine. Under the catwalk, 450 meters, the
hot springs flow, which reach the wells through a wooden gutter
Geometric hot springs
These hot springs are located in the vicinity of
Pucón, in the middle of the native forests of the Villarrica Volcano
National Park, comprising 20 stone pools scattered along a ravine, with waters that sprout above 45ºC.
Like the
Puritama hot springs, the facilities of the place were designed by the distinguished architect Germán del Sol, who maintained a deep respect for the surrounding nature, incorporating only subtle interventions into the landscape, consisting of a coigüe wooden walkway and basic services of bathrooms, lockers and a barbecue where to buy food and drinks.
