Description
Sail through the stunning fjords of Patagonia on a full-day boat trip from Puerto Natales. Explore the remote Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, home to some of Chile’s most impressive glaciers, only accessible by sea.
Your journey begins early in the morning at the Prat Pier (EPA) in Puerto Natales. From there, set sail along the breathtaking Última Esperanza Fjord, a route framed by snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, and untouched Patagonian landscapes.
On the way, spot the historic buildings of the old Bories meat-packing plant, traditional estancias, and rich wildlife including colonies of imperial cormorants and South American sea lions resting on rocky outcrops.
Arrive at Bernardo O’Higgins National Park — Chile’s largest protected area, spanning over 4.3 million hectares and home to the immense Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Here, disembark for an unforgettable walk to Serrano Glacier. Spend around 90 minutes on a scenic trail leading you close to this towering wall of ice.
Back on board, celebrate the moment with a glass of whisky chilled by ancient glacial ice. Then, continue your navigation to admire the magnificent Balmaceda Glacier from the open decks of the vessel.
This 6-hour expedition offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the raw beauty of Patagonia’s fjords, glaciers, and wildlife, all in one unforgettable adventure.
