Description
Begin your tour in San Carlos de Apoquindo between 7 and 8 AM. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel with all necessary gear included: trekking poles, hydration backpack, energy snacks, sunscreen, and a GoPro camera for photos. Warm up with dynamic stretches while receiving route details, breathing tips, and a personalized pace tailored to your level.
The ascent covers approximately 2 to 3 hours along rocky and gravel trails with a 1,700-meter (5,577-foot) elevation gain through the Andean foothills. You’ll stop at viewpoints to photograph the landscape and learn about native flora and Chilean trail running culture.
Reach the summit at around 2,900 meters above sea level near midday. Enjoy 360° views of Santiago, Cerro El Plomo, Marmolejo, and San José. Celebrate with a picnic and an immersive photo session, allowing for reflection and disconnection.
The descent takes about 1.5 hours using safe techniques, including a cool-off at mountain creeks. After returning to the car, participate in a personalized debrief covering your physical and mental achievements and future challenges.
By 2 to 4 PM, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel along with access to an online photo and video gallery.
