Description
The tour begins at Plaza Sotomayor in Valparaíso, where you will learn about the port’s history and its significance to Chile. Visit landmarks such as the Pacific War Monument and explore Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción, known for their colorful houses and urban art.
Walk through narrow streets rich in culture, then enjoy views of the bay from Paseo Yugoslavo. See the Piano Staircase, the famous Red Door, and view Pablo Neruda’s house, La Sebastiana, from the outside. The tour continues to the port area and Muelle Prat, perfect spots for photography.
Next, travel to Viña del Mar, starting with a photo stop at the Flower Clock. Visit Wulff Castle to learn about the city’s history while overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Pass by the Fonck Museum and see an authentic Easter Island moai statue from outside. Continue along Avenida Perú with panoramic ocean views before visiting Quinta Vergara, home of the internationally known music festival amphitheater.
