The tour begins with a 6:30 AM pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Natales. After a two-hour drive north to the trailhead, the local guide provides a briefing before starting the trek. The route crosses the Asencio River via a bridge, then continues for 1.5 hours to Refugio El Chileno, set in forest near Monte Nieto Almirante.
After a brief pause, the hike proceeds for 2 to 2.5 hours along a steeper trail to the main viewpoint at Las Torres, located at the eastern end of the lagoon. From here, you can see the three granite towers, as well as the Peineta and Nido de Condores hills. The group stops for a packed lunch while taking in the scenery.
