Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel or residence in Santiago. Then, head to the Maipo Valley, located just 45 minutes away from downtown Santiago. Visit 3 private, family-owned, sustainable, and organic wineries that are part of the Maipo Origen organization, a group of small-scale winemakers that promote sustainable and organic winemaking techniques and traditions. At the first winery, learn about the winemakers' philosophy, techniques, and tools for making high-quality wines. Enjoy a wine tasting paired with a local charcuterie board. At the second winery, learn more about the winemaking process from the winery owners and winemakers. Discover their view of terroir and craftsmanship. After a well-deserved break, which consists of a tasting of a classic local 'empanada de pino' (meat empanada), finish your tour with a visit to the last winery.
