Description

Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Santiago. Head to the Museum of Memory and Human Rights, a space designed to give visibility to the human rights violations committed by the Chilean State between 1973 and 1990. Learn about the history of Chile and the importance of respect and tolerance. Next, visit La Moneda, the headquarters of the Chilean government and the office of the president. Admire the pure neoclassical style of the building, an exceptional example of an architectural style and techniques typical of an entire stage of human history. Continue to Santa Lucia Hill, a historical and cultural icon of the city. Learn about the history of the hill, originally a wild rock used as a viewpoint by the Mapuches. After the arrival of the Spanish, Pedro de Valdivia renamed it Santa Lucía and founded the city of Santiago at its feet on February 12, 1541. Finally, visit San Cristóbal Mountain, the largest park in Santiago and one of its emblematic attractions. Take in the stunning 360 views of the city before returning to your hotel.
