Description
Cape Froward, one of the southernmost points on Earth, hosts glaciers and diverse marine life including humpback whales, sei whales, Piebald dolphins, Commerson’s dolphins, and Magellanic penguins. This area is located in the Austral region near the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego Island.
The tour begins early with a bus transfer to the boarding site 50 kilometers south of Punta Arenas, where a 12-hour navigation through this remote and pristine environment starts. You will experience landscapes of mountains, glaciers, and native Lenga and Coihue forests.
Marine wildlife such as sea lions, petrels, cormorants, and austral dolphins can be seen in close proximity during the journey, highlighting the biodiversity of the region.
