Patagonian Ranch Horseback Riding Experience
This horseback riding experience takes place at Hotel Llanuras de Diana's ranch in Patagonia, suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.

Description
The day begins at the Hotel Llanuras de Diana barn with a brief introduction, followed by meeting the horses in the corral. Under guidance, you will halter, brush, and saddle your horse, choosing between English, Chilean huaso, or gaucho tack.
Once the horse is prepared, beginners receive riding instructions, while experienced riders check saddle fit. You may select either a Half Day or Full Day experience:
Half Day Option
Ride through the Patagonian cattle ranch across forest and pampa, learning about local history along the way. Ride pace varies by skill level. Experienced groups may ride faster with opportunity to swim. The ride ends back at the barn with unsaddling and tea. Riding time is approximately two hours.
Bringing apples or carrots as treats for your horse is recommended.
Full Day Option
This longer ride heads toward the Argentine border through pampas and Patagonian forests. It includes a picnic by an old puesto before returning to the barn. Total riding time is around five hours, suitable only for riders comfortable at trot and canter.
Horses are unsaddled and fed treats you bring at the end of the ride.

Important Information
- Beginner riders are welcome but should not fear horses to enjoy the experience fully. Horses expect instruction and will not run off or buck.
- Cantering is available for experienced riders.

Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
It is advisable to bring horse treats such as apples or carrots, wear suitable riding clothing, and choose morning hours for cooler weather.
