Discover the Andean Lakes of Villarrica National Park on a full-day hike through ancient Araucaria forests, mountain lagoons and spectacular volcanic landscapes.
Your adventure begins in Pucón, where you'll meet your guide and travel to the Andean Lakes sector of Villarrica National Park. Leave the town behind and immerse yourself in a landscape shaped by volcanoes, native forests and mountain lakes.
Begin your hike at Quillelhue Lagoon and follow the trail through the Andean forest towards Escondida and Huinfiuca lagoons, surrounded by native vegetation and volcanic scenery. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the landscape, flora, fauna and natural environment.
One of the highlights of the experience is the impressive view towards Lanín Volcano, a majestic 3,870-meter peak located on the Chile–Argentina border.
After enjoying the mountain scenery and a healthy lunch, continue through the Andean landscape before beginning your return to Pucón.
On the way back, stop in Curarrehue to visit Cultural and Pehuenches stores, discover traditional crafts and locally produced gastronomic products while learning more about the culture and communities of the region.
