Description
Enjoy 3 days of activities and discover the must-see sights of the Atacama Desert, departing from San Pedro de Atacama. The natural attractions of the Atacama, the driest and highest desert in the world, are scattered around San Pedro.
Prepare to encounter conical volcanoes, azure lagoons, steaming geysers, and rock formations that seem to be from another planet. Llamas, vicuñas, guanacos, foxes, and graceful flamingos can also be seen in this unique wildlife environment. The 3-day package will be a combination of the 4 tours below. The local partner will contact you beforehand to coordinate the days you will participate in each activity.
El Tatio Geysers Tour:
Visit the El Tatio Geysers to marvel at the largest geothermal field in the Southern Hemisphere and the third largest in the world. Stroll through the Putana Valley, observe the flora and fauna, and stop at a lagoon to see flamingos.
Day Trip to the Red Rocks and Lagoons of the Altiplano:
Discover the gems of the Atacama Desert on a guided day trip from San Pedro de Atacama with hotel pickup. See the Tropic of Capricorn, the Red Rocks (Piedras Rojas), and the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons. Sunset Tour in the Valley of the Moon:
See landmarks like the Three Sisters and the Great Dunes before ending the day with an incredible sunset.
Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache Tour: Visit the hidden lagoons of Baltinache, or Seven Lagoons, one of the secret places in the Atacama Desert. This is a wonderful landscape where you can admire and take photos.

Important Information
- Tickets must be paid in advance at the agency (Baltinache and Geyser)
- Children under 9 years old are not allowed at the Tatio Geysers, park rule
- The order of visits may be changed for logistical reasons; the activity provider will always keep in touch via WhatsApp. Please provide a phone number or WhatsApp number (including the country code) and an email address to receive more information about tour times
- Mornings at the geysers are always cold (-10°C), regardless of the time of year, so be sure to bring warm clothes
- For Red Rocks and Altiplano Lagoons: this tour will be very cold in the morning (with temperatures sometimes below 0°C if it is windy) and hot in the afternoon; please bring layered clothing. There is a 40-minute walk on this tour
- In the Valley of the Moon, there is a 40-minute walk
- The included pick-up service is not available for accommodations located outside the urban area of San Pedro de Atacama
