Description
From your accommodation in Puerto Varas, we'll head to the town of Hornopirén along the Carretera Austral, crossing the Reloncaví Estuary by ferry. Upon arriving in the village, we'll head to Hornopirén National Park to start our hike to the waterfall. We'll hike for about 3 hours round trip through native forest along a very easy trail. We'll be able to enjoy the beautiful view of the Río Blanco Waterfall from the vantage point, take a break, and snap some photos. On the way back from the trail, we'll visit the town and take some time to enjoy a delicious meal at the local market, if you wish, and visit its waterfront. After visiting the village, we'll start our return journey to Puerto Varas. HIKE DETAILS: Difficulty: Low Outward journey: 1.5 hours. Drop-off time: 1.5 hours.
