This full-day tour from Santiago takes you through the Andes Mountains to Laguna del Inca and the Portillo Ski Resort, ideal for travelers interested in nature, history, and culture.
The route starts with a stop at a service center for breakfast and restrooms before heading into the mountains. Visit the Chacabuco Monument, a historical site commemorating a key battle in Chile’s independence.
Continue to Salto del Soldado, a natural formation with rich local legends and photo opportunities. Then proceed to the Chile-Argentina border, where the mountain range and international crossing are visible.
