Description

Starting at 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from downtown Punta Arenas hotels and transferred approximately 27 km south to Agua Fresca Lodge. There, a local family will welcome you before the horseback ride begins.

The route follows the Strait of Magellan and passes through wetlands rich in birdlife. You will see various types of vegetation such as lenga forest, calafate bushes, and sea mayweed. Animal sightings may include quetru deer, juarjual birds, caiquenes ducks, native birds, foxes, and rabbits.

The ride continues through forested areas to a viewpoint overlooking the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego, Dawson Island, and the Darwin mountain range. After returning from the ride, enjoy a homemade snack before the transfer back to Punta Arenas at noon.
