Description
We'll pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and head towards the Cerro Benitez and Sofia's Lake, one of the most scenic and iconic areas near Natales. We'll choose a suitable location depending on the conditions and weather on the day. After a 30 minute drive, you'll arrive at the rock climbing sector located in the heart of the foothills, at the front of the Lake.
The experience begins with a short approach hike along mountain trails that offer sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and the different water sources.
Once at the rock wall, your certified guide will prepare the gear, give a safety briefing, and teach the fundamentals of rock climbing and belaying technique.
Throughout the session, you'll climb equipped routes tailored to your experience level, progressing at a steady and safe pace. Your guide will share valuable information about the geology of the rock, the local flora, and the fauna that lives in the area. Is highly probable to see different species of bird of prey and the Andean Condor, that nests around the cliff. The routes will vary in height and difficulty, allowing you to push your limits with complete peace of mind and with strategic breaks based on the group's conditions.
After the climbs, enjoy a healthy outdoor snack surrounded by the stunning mountain landscapes before starting the descent. In the afternoon, relax on the drop-off to Natales, arriving in the city in time for the rest of the day.
