Description
Begin with an early hotel pickup between 4:30 and 5:10 AM to reach El Tatio Geysers at sunrise. Walk among the geothermal features and observe steaming vents in the cool morning air. Afterwards, enjoy an outdoor breakfast on the Altiplano plateau.
The tour continues to the wetlands of Putana and Machuca and visits Machuca village, known for its traditional cheese empanadas and llama meat skewers. This small native community offers insight into Altiplano life, surrounded by volcanoes and local wildlife.
The tour concludes with a drop-off at the Apacheta plaza in San Pedro de Atacama.
