Walk through forests of araucaria, coigüe, and lenga trees, with expansive views of the Lanín Volcano. Take a detour to Laguna Escondida, a hidden lagoon surrounded by dense forest and a small waterfall. Continue to Laguna Hueifiuca, where you can walk along a flat path between araucarias. Stop at key viewpoints to admire the scenery, take photos, and learn about the region’s geography, history, and volcanism from your guide. Walk along the shore of one of the lakes and appreciate the local flora and birdlife. Enter Villarrica National Park and walk along a trail within or on the edge of the park, depending on permits and weather conditions. Learn about the formation of the volcanoes, historical eruptions, and the park’s ecosystems. Enjoy free time for photos at a viewpoint within the park or at its main entrance before continuing the circuit to the next lake or viewpoint.
