Begin early with hotel pickup in El Calafate and travel southwest toward the Argentine-Chilean border. After crossing immigration, meet your Chilean guide for the last 80 km drive into Torres del Paine National Park.
The landscape changes dramatically with glacial lakes, snowcapped peaks, and native wildlife such as guanacos and condors. Stops include the Lago Sarmiento viewpoint, Saltos del Río Paine waterfall, and the upper viewpoint of Cerro Almirante Nieto near Laguna Amarga.
