Begin early from El Calafate aboard a 4x4 Overland Trek truck designed for Patagonian terrain. The tour travels through the Patagonian steppe with chances to spot guanacos and foxes before reaching the park.
Key stops include the Laguna de los Cisnes Viewpoint with views of the Paine Towers and the Mirador Superior del Lago Nordenskjold, overlooking mountains and glaciers. Salto Grande waterfall connects Lake Nordenskjold and Lake Pehoé and is an ideal location for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
You will then embark on an easy 2-hour guided hike to the Cuernos del Paine Viewpoint, providing views of the Paine Horns and Lake Nordenskjold. The final viewpoint near Lake Pehoé offers panoramas of the French Valley, Lake Pehoé, and the Paine Horns.
Experienced guides share insights about the park’s history and ecosystem throughout the day. Return to El Calafate is scheduled between 8:30 pm and 11:00 pm. The itinerary adapts to weather conditions to ensure safety and comfort.
