Description
Discover Farellones from a heritage and cultural perspective in an experience designed for travelers who want to understand the history and evolution of the mountain villages in Chile.
Leave the city behind and venture into the heart of the Andes on this full-day guided tour to Farellones Park, located just 32 km from Santiago and more than 2,300 meters above sea level.
Your day begins with a transfer from your hotel in Santiago. During the ascent, your tour guide will tell you about the history of the Andes Mountains, the origin of the first mountain resorts in Chile, and the geographical and cultural importance of this area for the country. An interpretive experience that makes the journey part of the sightseeing tour, not just transport.
Along the way, we'll make stops at selected panoramic vantage points, where you can photograph and admire the Andean landscape in all its grandeur.
Before arriving at the park, we'll stop at a rental center where those who need it can get clothing and footwear suitable for the snow or the cold of the mountains. This service is optional and comes at an additional cost.
Upon arrival at Farellones Park, you will have the day free to enjoy at your own pace all that the mountain has to offer: skiing, snowboarding, tubing, ziplining, trekking, and more, depending on the season (admission ticket not included). You can also explore the historic village of Farellones, with its traditional stone architecture and mountain charm.
At the end of the day, your tour guide will accompany you on your drop-off in Santiago with the best memories of the Chilean Andes.
