Begin with a 4x4 ride to base camp, trek for acclimatization, and then summit Licancabur Volcano at 5,916 meters above sea level.

Day 1: Pickup is at 2:00 PM from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Drive one hour to Hito Cajon border and cross into Bolivia entering Eduardo Avaroa National Park. Check in at Laguna Blanca Refuge (4,300 m). Proceed to base camp (4,600 m) and complete a 6 km acclimatization trek. Return for dinner at Laguna Blanca Refuge at 6:00 PM.

Day 2: Wake at 4:00 AM for breakfast before starting the 6-7 hour summit ascent from base camp. After reaching the summit, spend some time there then descend in about 3 hours. Return to San Pedro de Atacama around 4:00 PM.
