Description
Meet your guide, a native Rapa Nui islander, at your hotel in Hanga Roa and set off on a full-day tour of Easter Island. This full-day tour is led by a native islander guide who shares the oral histories, family memory, and cosmovision behind the moai — context you simply won't get from a script.
Over roughly 6/7 hours (9:30–16:30 aprox.), you'll visit 6 archaeological sites selected from Anakena, Pito Kura, Ahu Tongariki, Rano Raraku, Akahanga, Orongo, Rano Kau, Vinapu, Vaihu, Puna Pau, and Ahu Akivi. The route is adjusted to weather and to how your group is moving, so you're never rushed and never queuing behind a large coach.
You'll travel in a sanitized, air-conditioned vehicle — private for groups of 1 to 4, or shared in a small group of 5 to 15. Pickup and drop-off happen right at your accommodation in Hanga Roa, and there's a one-hour lunch break built into the day.
At each stop, your guide gives you time to listen, photograph, and simply stand with the site. Afterward, you'll receive a digital archive of photos and videos from the day, so you can be present instead of filming.
