Description
Valpo a la Olla by Lorraine is a Chilean culinary experience to share, enjoy, and discover our culture around a table.
We'll welcome you with a Pisco Sour and traditional sopaipillas con pebre in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. This will be the beginning of a gathering designed to enjoy the flavors of Chile and the joy of sharing a good meal.
After the appetizer, those who want to participate can voluntarily join in the preparation of the main course. This is not a cooking class: it's an invitation to get your hands dirty, share, chat, and be part of a Chilean culinary tradition. The dish being prepared may be empanadas de pino or cazuela, depending on the menu of the day.
Once the dishes are prepared, we all sit down at the table to enjoy lunch together.
We'll start with a Chilean ceviche accompanied by a white wine from the Casablanca Valley. Then we'll enjoy the main course, empanadas de pino or cazuela, paired with red wine from the Colchagua Valley.
To close this gathering, we'll serve a classic of our cuisine: the best mote con huesillos, prepared in-house, followed by a traditional Araucano, a Chilean laxative that is part of our culture and customs.
Pisco Sour, white and red wine, water, and drinks will be included throughout the experience.
The experience is guided by a certified chef, while Lorraine, host and creator of Valpo a la Olla, will be present to welcome guests, share stories, and be with them throughout this gathering.
Valpo a la Olla is designed for private groups of 8 to 16 guests, creating an exclusive, intimate, and authentic atmosphere where you can share a meal and discover Chile through its flavors.
