Description

Begin your day by leaving Puerto Natales in the dark to arrive at Torres del Paine before sunrise. Set up your camera and wait for the first light to hit the mountains, capturing the granite peaks as they ignite in shades of orange and pink. After the sunrise, turn your attention to subjects that flat light suits, such as waterfalls, lenga forests, and textured shorelines. Bring your filters to capture long exposures in the shade. Because the vehicle is private, the plan bends to you. Tell your guide beforehand what you want to come home with, and they will build the morning around it. This is a landscape day, but the park doesn't know that: when a guanaco, a fox, or a condor turns up, stop to take photos.
