Description
Enjoy an unforgettable experience visiting two of Patagonia's most important attractions: Torres del Paine National Park and Milodon Cave. This full-day tour combines nature, history, and unique landscapes, making it ideal for those seeking an accessible adventure packed with discoveries.
The day begins between 7:30 AM and 8 AM with pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Natales. From there, we will begin our two-hour journey to Torres del Paine National Park, which has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is considered one of the most breathtaking destinations in Chile.
Our first stops will be at the viewpoints of Sarmiento Lake, Laguna Amarga, and the Paine River Waterfall, from where you will be able to admire the majestic Paine Towers from different angles. We will then officially enter the park through the Laguna Amarga gate, where you will need to present your admission ticket (QR code).
Once inside, a panoramic tour will begin, allowing you to marvel at the grandeur of the Paine Massif and its main peaks: Paine Grande, Cuernos del Paine, and Almirante Nieto, among others. We will visit the most iconic areas, such as Lake Nordenskjöld, Lake Pehoé, the Paine River, Grey Lake, and the Grey Glacier viewpoint. Weather permitting, we will take short hikes to the Salto Grande waterfall and Grey Beach to get even closer to the vastness of these landscapes.
After leaving the park, we will continue our route along the shores of Toro Lake and Porteño Lake until we reach the Mylodon Cave Natural Monument, a huge cavern where the remains of this prehistoric animal, which inhabited the area more than 10,000 years ago, were found. Your ticket will allow you to enter the site and explore its trails before returning to Puerto Natales at around 6:00 pm.
This tour is low in difficulty and ideal for those who want to experience the best of Patagonia in a single day. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by a licensed guide (speaking English and Spanish) and a professional driver who will ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
