Description
Discover the Atacama Salt Flats through an experience that combines nature, relaxation and local flavors. After picking you up from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama, we will head to the impressive Laguna Cejar, where you can float naturally thanks to the high salt concentration in its waters, enjoy the Andean landscape, and have time to relax and take unforgettable photographs.
We'll continue to Ojos del Salar, two freshwater pools of underground origin that create a striking contrast with the saline surroundings. From here, you'll also have the opportunity to take spectacular photos with the imposing Licancabur volcano as a backdrop, one of the most iconic landscapes of the Atacama Desert.
The experience culminates at Tebenquiche Lagoon, one of the best places to watch the sunset over the Atacama Salt Flats. While the colors of the sky are reflected on the surface of the lagoon, you'll enjoy a brunch prepared with local products and toast with a traditional pisco de rica rica. Throughout the tour, our tour guide will share information about the geology, fauna, flora, and Atacama culture, making this excursion an authentic experience that goes far beyond visiting the main attractions of the desert.
